Meet SCOTT
Scott Belleri began studying the violin at the age of 7, under the guidance of Suzuki teacher Elizabeth McClung. After acceptance into the Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where he studied violin performance and music theory, he began studying with Thomas Tsaggaris, Julliard violinist, co-founder and first conductor of the Palm Beach Symphony.
While completing his Suzuki teacher training from Martha Shackford, he began volunteering with the Portland Suzuki Project, a non-profit which provided free in-school violin classes in an underserved public school, and subsequently served on the board for three years.
He has since received further Suzuki violin training from Dr. Rebekah Hanson and from renowned Suzuki pedagogue, author, and child psychologist Edmund Sprunger. He also has a background in Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais.
